The trailer for (500) Days of Summer, our generation's LA Story, has arrived on YouTube. While most LA movies are morose affairs about evil cops, homeless people, or natural disasters, 500 looks like a cutesy NY-set film like Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist or something. Downtown-set, the city looks quite pretty, with lots of shots of fountains, trains, and towers. There's also animation and dance routines, and a hipster dream cast of Joseph Gordon-Leavitt as an aspiring architect and Zooey Deschanel as his paramour, Summer. (And, oh, is that Morgan Freeman doing the cheesy/ironic narration?) [YouTube]
