Now that the mysterious Great White sharks have been explained, let's move on to the next inscrutable billboard/bus stop campaign. We've noticed these "For Humans Only" signs popping up throughout the city and assumed it's a teaser campaign for a summer movie. We just hoped it wasn't for a Michael Bay film. It turns out the ads are for a sci-fi flick coming out this August called "District 9", which according to IMDB is about "An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology." Apparently even riding the bus with us is too good for these aliens. Let's hope the allegory isn't going to be quite that heavy-handed. The trailer is here.
