The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) doesn't have an architecture curator and now the struggling Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) has laid off their architecture curator, according to the Architect's Newspaper: "In yet another major set of cuts, LA’s struggling Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) announced on May 19 that it was laying off Brooke Hodge, its curator of architecture and design...[it's a move] that has spurred anxiety in the Los Angeles design community, where questions have been raised about MOCA’s commitment to architecture." According to AN, MOCA has also canceled its upcoming Morphosis show, while the museum will maintain its exhibition space at MOCA Pacific Design Center to show off architecture and design shows. [AN]
