Venice's Pioneer Bakery Condos Definitely Not Happening

New, 15 comments

This plot used to hold the original Pioneer Bakery, but the family members sold the site (and likely for good amount of money) to developer Intracorp (Long Beach's Blu, the first One West Ocean building) who demolished the complex in 2007 in preparation for the proposed Pioneer Bakery Condos, a 70-unit plus retail in project. Last August, financing difficulties stopped progress on the project and the homeless RV contingent quickly pounced on the vacant land. Now, a "For Sale" sign has gone up on the lot, and for $10.5 million, this RV park can be yours.
