Is a pot dispensary coming to developer Barry Shy's SB Manhattan building at 6th and Spring? Blogdowntown reports that an application was filed with the city for a dispensary at the address, but in an email to the blog, "Barry Shy claims ignorance of his tenant's plans and does not approve of such a use." As Blogdowntown notes, Shy previously ruffled feathers by putting in an adult film store in another one of his downtown buildings. Meanwhile, locals have been battling dispensaries over in Atwater Village, but have had little luck in fending off new openings. [Blogdowntown]
