Brentwood real estate agents Scott and Melinda Tamkin have hit a "CSI" producer with a $6 million lawsuit, alleging that the producer, who used the couple as agents, turned around and defamed them in an February episode. Via the Los Angeles Times: "On Friday the Tamkins filed a $6-million defamation and invasion of privacy suit against the producer, Sarah Goldfinger, saying she humiliated them and cost them potential business "by creating from whole cloth characters engaged in a reckless lifestyle of sexual bondage, pornography, drunkenness, marital discord, depression, financial straits and possibly even murder." That's the couple pictured and here's their web site (actors were hired to look like them, according to the Times, while the characters names were the Turners) and here's the episode recap. Seriously, death by toothpaste? From the episode recap: "[Melinda Ticker] fed herself a fatal dose of toothpaste, spiked her husband's wine and then handcuffed herself to the bed to frame him for murder. Scott tells Catherine that his wife was deeply unhappy when his clients started to lose their houses and blamed the Tuckers." [LA Times]
