Via the OC Register: "Consumers may soon get some relief from those annoying “your vehicle warranty is about to expire” phone calls. The U.S Federal Trade Commission filed suit today to shut down the telemarketing campaign which bombarded U.S. consumers with hundreds of millions of misleading calls." According to the OC Register, the calls have netted $10 million for the Florida-based company accused of running the scam.
