Yesterday, the Planning and Land Use Management Committee (PLUM) approved the proposed sign ordinance, which would attempt to regulate sign use around the city, sending the ordinance to the City Council (they will likely hear the issue on May 20th). We're told that there were some changes made to the ordinance; one person characterizes these as "minor" changes. Seeing as all the reporters who would normally cover these types of important committee meetings have been laid off, that's all we can tell you. But it's expected that the proposed (and now revised) ordinance will be posted on the city planning's web site before the City Council meeting.
