Here's the latest in the legal wrangling over developer Ed Roski's proposed NFL stadium in the city of Industry: Last night, the Diamond Bar City Council approved an agreement with Industry that gives Diamond Bar $20 million in concessions, reports the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. In exchange, Diamond Bar will drop objections to the stadium, according to the paper. Last month, the city of Walnut sued over the stadium, saying that it'll bring all sorts of rowdiness and traffic to the area. Via the SGV: "Councilwoman Carol Herrera took a fatalistic view of the stadium. 'Any way you look at it, the project is going in. There's no way to stop it,' she said...As part of the agreement with Diamond Bar, Industry will pay for street improvements to cope with stadium-generated traffic, build landscaped soundwalls to help block out noise and light and pick up the tab for new public safety costs, officials said."
