Following that big huballoo about the fact that the marathon was going to held later this year (and on a Monday), making it harder for racers to run in the warmer weather, LAist.com is reporting that a motion "introduced by three City Councilmembers today will lift a ban that forced the Los Angeles Marathon this year to be held on a Monday holiday instead of a Sunday to avoid conflicts with religious groups."
