With the exception of the under-construction Brooks Avenue townhome, there isn't a ton of new construction in Venice at this point. The Dogtown Station has wrapped up and is still trying to unload and the Pioneer Bakery project is on hold, so anyone interested in new construction may or may not want to check out this project: Main Street Lofts at 1411 Main Street in Venice. There are six units: All are two-bedroom, two and half bath residences that are about 1,850 square feet. All the units come with a two car garage (direct access), important given the headache that is the Venice parking situation. The architect is Manhattan Beach-based Jim Fasola; developer is LGW Construction. Roger Leonard, the Coldwell Banker real estate agent handling the project tells us the project hasn't been priced yet, but the building will finished by June 1st. Welcome to the neighborhood.
