Zell on Hotels and More

New, 18 comments

Businessweek covers real estate entrepreneur/Tribune owner Sam Zell's recent remarks on the commercial real estate market at the Milken Institute Global Conference. There's this: "I’m happy to buy a hotel when you can tell me the President will stop pissing on conventions." Who knows what that means? More: "We won’t see new equity players until the banks foreclose. It’s going to be a couple to three years before the ownership structure changes." [Businessweek]
