Rancho Cucamonga Land Up for Bids

While a San Bernardino County grand jury and the District Attorney's Office investigates whether a developer got preferential treatment in regards to a settlement connected to a 1,200-acre piece of land, the board of supervisors is expected to "declare July 28 as the date to receive proposals from the Rancho Cucamonga City Council on potential developers for a controversial 1,200-acre piece of land," reports the Daily Bulletin. According to the paper, five developers have made bids on the land, estimated to be anywhere worth anywhere from $25 million-$50 million. [DB]
