It'll be a while before Assemblyman Tom Ammiano's pot legalizing bill is heard, but this just gives late night television writers time to come up with more "crazy California and their wacky pot legislation" jokes. Earlier this week, ABC7 reported that the politician "who wants California to regulate and tax the sale of marijuana to adults says he will not introduce his bill this spring. Speaking with reporters in Sacramento Monday, Tom Ammiano, a San Francisco Democrat, said he expects the bill to receive its first hearing in the fall." [ABC7]
