Yesterday, 12 students at Pasadena's Art Center College of Design presented new visions of the old yellow school bus. According to the Pasadena Star-News, for the students, who are enrolled in the Art Center College of Design's Mobility Class (part of the school's Transportation Design Department), the challenge was to "view the school bus as more than a vehicle to transport students to and from school, but rather as a vehicle that could be incorporated into the community, said instructor Marek Djordjevic, who oversaw the project." Pictured above is Andrew Kang's double-decker bus that turns into a skate park when the back is removed. Nifty. More images are available via the newspaper's gallery.
