Hope in the OC?

New, 2 comments

Even though the median sale price in the OC is still down 26.2% from a year ago, it has risen two months in a row, reports the OC Register's Jon Lanser, citing the latest DataQuick report. "$380,000 median selling price in this new report — which begins to reflect early March patterns — is up $5,000 from February which was up $5,000 from January. Assume that holds. Last time we had back-to-back price gains? October-November 2007....February was the 8th straight month of sales gains vs. the year-ago period. That follows 33 consecutive months where sales failed to beat the previous year’s pace." [OC Register]
