New, 14 comments

KOREATOWN: What up, Solair? It's been a while since there was a a mention of that 22-aqua green condo tower at Wilshire and Western, but via an email, here's the latest from an exec at development firm Koar Institutional Advisors. He writes: "The project is going great. Funny you ask today, because we actually received our Temporary Certificate of Occupancy this morning! Here is a quick update: --Action Property Management has taken over management of the building. --We will turn the retail space over to our tenants in the coming weeks for them to begin their Tenant Improvements. --A number of them have already pulled TI permits and are ready to begin construction. -- In April, we plan to move our sales office into the building and open 3 model units on the 18th floor showcasing all of our finishes including: Bontempi Casa cabinetry, CaesarStone countertops, and Grohe fixtures among others. 4. We anticipate moving our buyers into the building in May shortly after we open our sales office." [Curbed Staff]

DEL REY: If you like to talk about traffic, maybe you'll want to go to this panel next week. "Councilmember Bill Rosendahl will moderate a panel discussion focused on traffic concerns for the Westside community of Del Rey. The panel discussion entitled “Del Rey Traffic Revisited” is sponsored by the Del Rey Homeowners and Neighbors Association and will feature speakers from the Los Angeles Department of Transportation and the California Department of Transportation. The discussion will present an opportunity for the public to share its concerns about traffic problems in the area with traffic experts from the City and the state." It'll be held at the Playa del Rey Elementary School Auditorium at 12221 Juniette Street from 7-9 next Thursday night. [Curbed InBox]
