We're not familiar with Murray Siegel (who is apparently still working in Calabasas), the architect for this midcentury post & beam, but we like the high ceilings and open floor plan in this 1,498 square foot home. Although the bedrooms look somewhat small. The listing claims that Murray is a "noted architect" but Google seems to differ. This 1956 three-bedroom, two-bath home also features an open kitchen, Sub-zero fridge, a covered patio, and a flat backyard. The master bedroom also has its own patio and the baths and kitchen were remodeled with Walker Zanger tiles. The house is in the highly desirable Ivanhoe school district as well. It was last sold in June 2002 for $470,000. Today's asking price: $929,000 or $620 per square foot.
