PriceChopper: T-Lofts on Tennessee Dropping Already

New, 23 comments

There have been some renderings of this project kicking around, but here are construction shots and updated pricing on the 84-unit T-Loft project on Tennessee Avenue, near Olympic. While prices were in the $600,000s, the rep for the development passes on word that the units will now be priced in the high $500,000s. As far as notable features: There are 18 spaces with plugs for electric vehicles and there's a dog park. Woof! The development will also be near the forthcoming Expo stop. Meanwhile, the project also touts its greeneness, but is it time to bury that phrase? Is there anything actually green about putting up a condo building? The jig is up, developers.

Description: T-Lofts consists of 84 chic, ultramodern one- and two-story lofts ranging in size from 943 to 2,050 square feet with one to three bedrooms and up to three baths. This community adapts to today’s different lifestyles and integrates eco-friendly features with modern conveniences and designer appointments to create living spaces that are ecologically-friendly and functional.

Priced from the high $500,000s, all units have the builder’s signature smartKitchen, with its ergonomic U-shaped design, gourmet center with an eating bar that seats four people, imported Italian cabinetry with under cabinet lighting, stainless steel built-in GE Cafe Series Energy Star appliances and seven-foot high slide-out pantry; luxurious master bathrooms with separate, seamless-glass shower and Hydro Systems soaking tub, and Toto dual-flush toilet. High-end Kohler fixtures; Italian cabinetry; imported, natural CasearStone countertops; and concrete floors with acoustical cork underneath are found in both the kitchens and baths. A wide selection of quality, high-efficiency materials and products reduce waste, conserve energy and water, and provide a healthy interior living environment.

Work/live units provide the ideal space for creative professionals and small businesses, offering an opportunity to roll the cost of owning a home and business into one mortgage payment, while reducing the occupant’s carbon footprint. The community’s flats and townhomes offer spacious open designs for today’s savvy buyers and can be personalized with walls and sliding doors to create the space that works for your lifestyle.

Secure, gated underground parking includes two spaces per unit, plenty of guest parking, 18 spaces with plugs for electric vehicles and bike racks. Street entry is through a main lobby with secure elevator access.
