Has Eli Broad Picked His Architect?

New, 14 comments

Earlier this year, local philanthropist Eli Broad announced plans to build a museum in Beverly Hills to permanently house his extensive art collection. To build his new museum, he invited numerous architects to submit designs as part of a competition. The list of architects, according to an Architects Newspaper story, included: Thom Mayne, Jean Nouvel, Shigeru Ban, Rafael Viñoly, and Christian de Portzamparc.
