"I am a recent college grad who is planning on attending CSULA for graduate school. Problem is, I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I need some advice about where I can find an apartment with a reasonable commute to the campus. I've been looking on Craigslist at places in Alhambra, Mission Junction and Monterey Park. My concern is traffic, most of what one hears about places like LA and NYC is how bad the congestion in the city is. Perhaps it's the Midwestern flair for aggrandization, but is it really that bad? Could I extend my search to a 5 mile radius and still manage to drive less than an hour each way?" Apparently this is a very popular question.
