Who doesn't think of valet parking and Eagle Rock in the same sentence? Eastsider LA reports the neighborhood is looking for proposals on a pilot program for a public valet system (similar to public valet stands in Pasadena, it allows visitors to go to any neighborhood business). With a new program in place that allows small businesses to forgo providing parking, the neighborhood wants to make sure things don't get too cramped. Commercial parking consultant Mott Smith tells Eastsider LA: "We want to avoid some of the problems you see in Hollywood and Third Street where you see a gazillion valets operating." [Eastsider LA]
