Desert Prefab: Latest from Taliesin West Students

New, 29 comments

The Detox the Planet blog picks up on the latest work of the busy bees at the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona. "This beautiful 600 square foot, one bedroom house was a collaborative effort between the graduate and undergraduate students with some guidance from a handful of people like well known prefab designer Jennifer Siegal from the Office of Mobile Design...Add this one to our list of favorites!" The official web site for the development offers a list of all the vendors, and notes that the home can be connected to utilities or be "unplugged"; additionally, its structure is agile enough to be able to be transported on roads.
