The trend of hiring a small army of A-list architects for a "big money development," stretches from Las Vegas Dubai to Basel, Switzerland. Yesterday, the New York Times' Nicolai Ouroussoff reviewed Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis's new campus in Basel, which was designed by Frank Gehry, Rafael Moneo, and Adolf Krischanitz, among others. A few photos accompany the review, notable since the project has been sealed off from the press until now, according to the paper. But naturally, some photos have been up for months on Flickr. That's the Gehry building, according to Flickr. Novatis is one of the pharmaceutical makers of the H1N1 swine flu vaccines.
