Santa comes a little early to the Watts House Project, a nonprofit currently rehabbing a row of homes with a $125,000 grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. The grant is "aimed at helping smaller arts nonprofits learn to raise money and improve their business operations so they’ll be better able to support and sustain their creative work." Renovations are currently in progress on seven homes facing Simon Rodia's Watts Tower on East 107th Street. [LA Times]
