Midtown Crossing Considered

New, 9 comments

The Los Angeles Business Journal takes a look at some of developer CIM's delayed projects, including the pit in the ground that is Phase II of the Midtown Crossing site in Mid-City. Phase II, which includes plans for a Lowe's, was supposed to have broken ground by now, but the developer is now looking at alternative financing options, including money associated with government’s stimulus plan, according to City Councilman Herb Wesson's office. Meanwhile, according to the Community Redevelopment Agency's most recent quarterly report (listed on their web site) the project is supposed to break ground in summer 2010 (but it's not immediately clear why the CRA picked that date).
