Back in October, the United States Postal Service listed a lot for sale at 313 Grand Boulevard, a plot located just a block and a half from the ocean. Yo Venice provides an update on the site, which was being marketed for hotel, residential, retail use (some of those suggestions apparently rattled development- leery locals). Martin J. McDermott at Grubb & Ellis tells the blog that “the USPS has selected a pool of qualified candidates to negotiate with on the sale of the Venice property. It is not expected that we will be in escrow prior to the end of Q1 2010.”
