That guy who started that racy coffee shop (baristas in bikinis served coffee) in Torrance is packing it in and leaving town. He sounds pretty bitter. Via the Daily Breeze: "The 50-year-old Tarzana resident accused Torrance of using excessive regulations to hinder his marketing efforts. [Gary] Gillett complained that the city forced him to take down a banner he put on the lawn in front of his shop because he lacked a city permit....In addition, an inflatable jumper he set up near his shop - for his employees and customers to bounce around in - also drew a city reprimand, he said."
