PriceChopper: Anachronism in the Hollywood Hills

New, 17 comments

This four bedroom, two bathroom house deep in the Hollywood Hills is a little jarring. Its posts and beams say modern, but its accoutrements say contemporary (we're talking to you, basin sinks). The house was built in 1959 and renovated in 1967, and the listing adds, was "recently renovated with the utmost taste and quality." There are stone countertops, porcelain tiles, and bamboo floors, plus a patio and garden. The house went on the market in June for $1.19 million, and has been chopped down to $1.079 million. That's $579 per square foot.
