Reggie Bush Lists Hollywood Hills Home, Shows Off His Monogrammed Pillows

New, 21 comments

Look, we've seen MTV's "Cribs." We know what to expect when we see the Hollywood home of a baller (literal and figurative). Ostentatious displays of wealth. Animal skins. Maybe a stripper pole or two. Homeowning identity hidden behind a vaguely-named trust. So imagine our surprise when we stumbled upon New Orleans Saints player and former Trojan Reggie Bush's newly-listed house in the Hollywood Hills.

And maybe our expectations are low these days, but it's not terrible (ok, maybe those bar stools are). The views are pretty spectacular, especially from the master bedroom. Even the monogrammed pillows and screening room door (?) and touches of zebra are relatively subdued, given the milieu. However, Reggie is doing a terrible job of hiding his identity - the monograms, the football memorabilia, he even bought the house in his own name. (And we hear if you visit the home, his actual name is all over the place.)

Maybe he thinks his name will make the four-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath house worth the $5.099 million he's asking. He bought the house in January 2007 for $4.7 million. His current asking price puts the house at over $1,000 per square foot, or close to double neighborhood comps. At that price, he better throw in his Heisman.

Joshua Altman, Hilton & Hyland's listing agent, declined to comment on ownership of the home.
