Is anyone surprised by this? The Los Angeles Times is reporting that homeless experts are disputing the findings of that recently released homeless survey. "An L.A. County report showing a 38% drop in the homeless population has been met with consternation by the region’s homeless providers, who say the findings are inaccurate and could cost them funding at a time when the need is great." In particular, the figure that states the number of families that are homeless has dropped since 2007 is raising eyebrows. [LA Times]
