Curbed Poll: Cape Cod In San Rafael Hills

New, 8 comments

Even if Cape Cod-style homes always strike us as a bit odd in LA, this one is pretty charming, with its picket fence, rose gardens and brick walkway. According to the listing, this three-bedroom, one-and-three-quarter bath also features a brick patio, French doors to the garden, Carrera marble counters in the kitchen, a Viking range. There's also an eat-in kitchen, crown molding, a fireplace, and a two car garage. Additionally, the listing notes the neighborhood amenities, including a "quick drive over bridge to Pasadena's Old Town," proximity to the Rose Bowl, San Rafael park, and neighborhood restaurants. The house was last sold in August 2000 for $362,000 and is now listed at $775,000, which sounds like a significant jump but $482 per square foot is actually just a smidge above comps. Listing is here.
