There is some stupendous news to report. The Town Tire Co site at 7505 Beverly Boulevard, a site which has been empty since the beginning of time (and quite possibly even before that) is getting a tenant. Rolling Greens, a plant nursery which also has a Culver City outpost, will open in November at the old tire company, a 1930 building that once housed a grocery store. This move follows that aborted effort on the part of a denim company to move to the spot. Anyway, this is great news. Maybe this means the recession is over and everyone will be less crabby.
