The building on Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades has four units on four terraced levels, and, the ad says, was designed to look like a ship sinking into the mountain. Sort of grim, but also sort of cool. This unit has a private patio, views to the ocean, hardwood floors, a fireplace, and built-ins. The galley looks a little dinky, but it comes with a dining area. Rent is $3,000 with a $3,000 deposit.
