The Pasadena Star News is reporting that plans to demolish the 1845 Michael White Adobe on the San Marino High School campus have been shelved - for now. The San Marino school board is now working on a six month plan to come up with fundraising ideas after a budget shortfall threatened the adobe. The building might be moved for a planned swimming pool expansion (most likely to Lacy Park) at a cost of $1 million or restored on-site. [Pasadena Star News, image via]
