It was just a few weeks ago that this two-bedroom, two-and-a-quarter bath condo went on the market in Beachwood Canyon for $469,000. The listing boasted "lowest price offering in this building in 5 years." We complained about the generic kitchen. You complained about the ugly mansard roof. It was magical. The unit last sold in 1987 for $130,000. Now the price is chopped, but the listing tells us it's looking for backup offers. New asking price: $399,000 or $411 per square foot.
