CurbedWire: New Prism Cultural Center, Declaring the Recession Over

New, 17 comments

WEST HOLLYWOOD: The folks at Los Angeles-based architecture firm PATTERNS just submitted a photo of the new Prism Cultural Center in West Hollywood. According to the firm, the new cultural center, which'll house a bookstore, opens to the public on November 12. The press release goes on to note all the architectural details of the structure, but fails to note the address of the building, and we point that error out in only the most loving way possible. So go a' looking for it. [Curbed InBox]

BEVERLY HILLS: This is an interesting way to encourage a seller's market: Put out a press release saying the worst is behind us. Syd Leibovitch, owner and president of Beverly Hills-based Rodeo Realty, Inc., believes "2010 will have the highest number of home sales possibly ever recorded in Los Angeles and Ventura counties," according to a presser from his office. Good luck, Leibovitch. [Curbed InBox]
