DOWNTOWN: Amidst all the recent openings downtown (Casa, Rivera, Provecho), comes news that Tranquility Base has shuttered. The restaurant was open less than a year.

WEST HOLLYWOOD: With the debut of the newly revamped Riot Hyatt this week, now known as Andaz West Hollywood, comes the opening today of the hotel's restaurant RH. The chef is Sebastien Archambault, and the restaurant is focused on seasonal ingredients.

WEST HOLLYWOOD: Eater checks in on the forthcoming BOA Steakhouse, as it moves down Sunset from the Grafton Hotel to Luckman Plaza. While the original will stay open until the new one debuts (expect a Spring opening), the new space will be 4,000 square feet designed by Tag Front.
