The last time there was a check of the old Riot Hyatt on Sunset, a giant graphic was covering the front exterior. Per the above photo, taken last weekend, the tarp is gone and tomorrow the hotel will open, reborn as the Andaz West Hollywood. The notable element of the hotel is the glass windows which have replaced the famous balconies where all those rock star sheninagans went down (Keith Richards dropping tvs, etc). Now everyone is older, wiser, and getting paunchy. And drop kicking a flat-screen plasma TV into Sunset Blvd just doesn't go over well in these environmentally-friendly times. Photo-wise, there are just a few shots of the rooms on the web site, which also lists prices ranging from $295-$445 a night.
