There's an update to that story about how outdoor exercisers are annoying Santa Monica residents with their crunches and squats. Despite continued ticketing--and continued press attention--it doesn't sound like there's been any sort of resolution. The Lookout News reports there's a meeting on Thursday night that will "offer opposing factions a chance to weigh the pros and cons" of limiting the use of medians near Adelaide Drive and 4th Street. Additionally, the city council has been discussing everything from "making the area less welcoming for exercise buffs to working with LA officials to shut down the stairs." Sadly, the paper doesn't reveal just how the areas would be made "less welcome," but that would be a fun brainstorming session to listen in on. [Lookout News]
