Did you know the Metro offers free tours of the transit system's art and architecture? We didn't until we stumbled upon this video of a tour led by a Metro Docent Council volunteer. Apparently, the LA Metro is the first transit system to have a docent-led tour program. The free tours, which are held the first Saturday and Sunday of each month, are roundtrip, last about two hours, and don't require an advance registration. Bonus! Your docent may be wearing Philip Johnson eyeglasses.
