Via the Inbox news about the second phase of the Expo Line, the planned light rail project that'll go from Culver City to Santa Monica: "Just got a notice in yesterday’s mail that the draft EIR for EXPO Phase two is out – you can find it online here: More importantly, the next round of public hearings will be held at the end of February. There will be three identical meetings (see dates at bottom of page link), with the golden ticket one being February 23 from 5pm-8pm in Cheviot Hills! Mark your calendars and hold on to your hats because you know that meeting will be rambunctious!" Included in the gallery are the four proposed routes. Meanwhile, if the meeting hasn't been rescheduled, tomorrow the California Public Utilities Commission will make a decision on those two disputed street crossings for the Expo phase 1. Woo hoo.
