Today the Los Angeles Times editorial board declared that the city council and city attorney have shown “epic ineptitude” in their attempted regulation of supergraphics. Epic ineptitude, people! A term used to describe both the government’s handling of Hurricane Katrina and the 2003 Cincinnati Bengals. And in the spirit of ineptness, Curbed is having a photo contest. Send in a photo of what “epic ineptitude” means to you. Above is one example. Basically, the photos can be taken anywhere and be of anything. Play it loose. The wining photo will face off with the city council's handling of supergraphics; readers will ultimately vote on what shows more ineptness. Contest ends in a week. Submit now.
