More bad news for John Laing Homes, the developer of the now stalled-Madrone project and numerous projects in California, Texas, and Colorado. Per the The National: "Out of 69 projects, 50 now list answering services as their chief contacts for the company, which is one of the US’s largest home builders, according to a review of the John Laing Homes website this week. Operators said they could only take messages for the company and knew nothing of the projects." According to the paper, California and Colorado have been hit hardest: "In those states, 48 residential property developments now list an outside answering service hired by the company to take messages, according to the company’s website."
