New, 36 comments

This three-bedroom, three-bath home at 418 Westminster in Venice hit the market for an astounding $13 million exactly a year ago. Granted, it looks far better on the inside, but the Moroccan-influenced home still didn't find any takers. Two PriceChops later, it was holding steady at $8.295 million last summer, and now it has dropped again. A Venice special, it's now down to $6.9 million. And from the MLS listing: "Architectural icon inspired & created in 1995 for personal use by photo artist. A low-profile, hi-walled security compound just steps to Abbot Kinney & the beach. Perfect 4 those seeking privacy, security, location, & a one-of-a-kind trophy property. Enormous mstr, mstr bath & walk-in closet + 2 more gst rms w/potential to create more. A naturally lit photog studio, could also be art, dance, recording studio or screening rm. A river-like pl runs thru main rms to sweep you away to another world..."
