Given all the stories about downtown's increasingly crowded (available) rental market, this seems worth pointing out: "The New York City-based Related Cos. has reached 100% leasing on the developer's new 128-unit Hikari apartment complex, a public-private project in the Little Tokyo district of Downtown LA that it completed in partnership with the City of Los Angeles Redevelopment Agency. Some 20% of the units are designated as affordable housing, with the rest market-rate." The Little Tokyo rental building opened for move-ins in January 2007. [Globe St]
