Last year--when he still was with the Dodgers--Derek Lowe listed his Mediterranean-style Manhattan Beach home for $5.7 million. This week, Lowe signed a four-year, $60-million contract with the Atlanta Braves, and yesterday, the pitcher took out the politically incorrect tomahawk and chopped $500,000 off the price of the home.
