Curbed Poll: What Should Replace Sunset Blvd's Circuit City?

New, 60 comments

As noted this morning, Circuit City's 567 U.S. stores are signing off. And one of the city's most memorable stores is sandwiched between the Vermont/Sunset Metro stop and the hipster ground zero that is Sunset Junction. Now that the City is no more, what should become of this coveted real estate plot? Up the street, we've seen attempts at green space (the tiny pocket park at Vermont), while developer KOR tried to lure yuppies to Sunset with sterile-looking condos. Meanwhile, will city officials snap up the land for pennies on the dollar? We've taken some readers' suggestions and made a poll--vote now! UPDATE: It looks like investor/developer CIM owns the land, so you'll have to lobby them.
