While access to Watts Towers is still restricted as the city repairs damage done to the structure from the 2004-05 rain storms, this mini-documentary, The Towers, was just uploaded to YouTube. Produced in 1957, just a few years after Simon Rodia completed his 33-year project, the film offers a fascinating look at the construction of the Towers, now scheduled to re-open to the public in March.
