Goats Arrive Downtown, Everyone Excited

New, 32 comments

This morning saw the arrival of 100 goats to Angels Knoll Park; the goats (many of them strong female goats) will spend the next two weeks (they could leave sooner) eating the grass as part of the city's plan to clear the hillside. According to blogdowntown, the animals will eat 8-10 hours a day and sleep in a pen at the upper part of the park. Additionally, using goats instead of human crews will save the Community Redevelopment Agency "several thousand dollars." Photo via blogdowntown
